All you dating teens out there, be very thankful you don’t have a dad like Billy Ray Cyrus. In an interview with talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus said her dad gets weird when it comes to her dating. “The other day I had one of my guy friends over and my dad was... hiding in the kitchen,” Miley tells Oprah. “We were outside just like hanging out and I look around and my dad's standing there. He's standing there with his German shepherd dog watching us and I'm like, 'Dad, you're gonna scare him. I'm not going to have any more friends.' "
Daddy Cyrus apparently can’t bring himself to accept that his 14 year old daughter is at that dating stage. He tells Oprah that he’s being like any other dad with a teenage daughter. Of the incident, Billy says he was just joking around with Miley’s friend and that he wasn’t really checking up on her. “They knew I was there. It’s not like I was spying.”
Of course, he didn’t explain why the dog was there.
